On November 18, 2025, the House overwhelmingly passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, with only Rep. Clay Higgins opposing. The Senate followed suit, and Trump signed the bill, mandating the DOJ release files by December 19. Additionally, a discharge petition enabled a House vote, ending the longest government shutdown.
